COMPOSITION:

Active substances: Oxytetracycline hydrochloride 12 mg; Colistin sulfate 5 mg;
Excipients:
- vitamins and mineral support: Vitamin C 3,6 mg; Vitamin A 1.800 IU; Vitamin D3 600 IU; Vitamin E 1.5 mg; Vitamin K3 0.3 mg; Vitamin B1 0.3 mg; D – pantothenic acid 0.9 mg; Biotin 0.024 mg; Magnesium sulfate 0.9 mg; Zinc sulfate 0.12 mg; Methionine 2.4 mg;
- lactose, starch, PVP K30, CMC, aerosil, talcum, avicel, magnesium stearate …up to 120 mg
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
The product has a significant antimicrobial effect due to synergistic action of the two antibiotics, which provides high efficiency of the product in treatment of primary or secondary microbial diseases.
Oxytetracycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic with bacteriostatic effect, acting on Gram positive and Gram negative germs, including the germs responsible for secondary coccidia infections of the lesions in intestine and cecum.
Colistin sulfate belongs to lipopeptide structure polymyxines – antibiotics with significant antibacterial action on Gram negative bacilli by irreversibly damaging their cytoplasmic membrane. If administered orally, it absorbs very slowly in intestine which provides very good results in treatment of enteritis caused by Gram negative germs (colibacilli, salmonellas, pasteurellas, Haemophilus spp., Bordetella spp.)
Vitamin C acts for increasing the body resistance to infections.
Vitamins and minerals act as biocatalysts during the metabolism and have antiinfectious action.
TARGET SPECIES:
Poultry(galinaceae and palmipeds)
INDICATIONS:
Treatment of collibacillosis, salmonellosis, eimeriosis and secondary infections induced by various germs in poultry over 7 days of age.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in chickens in the first 7 days of life.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
None known
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
The product is administered individually in chickens older than 7 days, in dose of 1/2 tablet daily, for 2 consecutive days.
In chickens over 30 days of age and in the other poultry species, the product is administered in dose of 1 tablet /kg body weight daily, for 2 – 3 consecutive days (preventively) and 5-7 consecutive days (curatively).
WARNINGS:
Do not administer the product simultaneously with other antibiotics.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat: 28 days, eggs: 7 days;
